Zomig (Zolmitriptan) is a cerebral vasoconstrictor used to relieve migraine headache attacks as they occur. Zomig (Zolmitriptan) will not prevent or reduce the number of attacks you experience.

Zomig side effects, that may go away during treatment, include numbness or tingling of skin, nausea, dizziness, or drowsiness. If Zomig side effects continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE USING ADDITIONAL DOSES if you experience Zomig side effects like wheezing; tightness in the jaw, neck, or chest; or heart pounding. <b>Directions and Zomig Information</b> Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. THIS MEDICINE COMES WITH A Zomig Information PATIENT INFORMATION LEAFLET. Read Zomig Information carefully. Ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist any questions that you may have about this medicine. IT IS BEST TO TAKE A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE as soon as you notice headache symptoms of a migraine attack. If your headache returns, you may take another dose as directed by your doctor. Allow at least 2 hours between doses of this medicine. IF YOU DO NOT GET A RESPONSE FROM THE FIRST DOSE, do not take additional doses without checking with your doctor. DO NOT TAKE MORE THAN 10 mg in a 24 hour period. DO NOT TREAT MORE THAN 3 MIGRAINE HEADACHES with this medicine in a 1 month period without consulting your doctor. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C), away from heat, light, and moisture.
