Avandaryl is a combination drug. It contains the active ingrediants from Avandia (Rosiglitazone) and Amaryl (Glimepiride) in one tablet. Avandaryl can take up to two months to get the desired effect. When on Avandaryl, you should get regular blood work done by your doctor to make sure your liver functions normally.
Avandaryl side effects that may occur include dizziness, or headache. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience unusual tiredness or weakness, sore throat, fever, unusual bleeding or bruising, or sensitivity to the sun or light. CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY if you experience yellowing of your skin or the whites of your eyes; nausea; vomiting; stomach pain; fatigue; loss of appetite; unusual thirst; unusual amount of urine; dark urine; rapid weight gain; swelling of your hands, legs, face, lips, eyes, throat, or tongue; shortness of breath; difficulty swallowing or breathing; or hoarseness or chest pain.
