Patanol (Olopatadine 0.25%) Opthalmic Drops is an antihistamine used to prevent itching of the eyes due to allergies. Follow the directions for using Patanol (Olopatadine 0.25%) provided by your doctor. TO USE Patanol (Olopatadine 0.25%), first, wash your hands. Tilt your head back and, with your index finger, pull the lower eyelid away from the eye to form a pouch. Drop the Patanol (Olopatadine 0.25%) into the pouch and gently close your eyes. Remove excess Patanol (Olopatadine 0.25%) around your eye with a clean tissue, being careful not to touch your eye. Wash your hands to remove any Patanol (Olopatadine 0.25%) that may (Olopatadine 0.25%), do not touch the applicator tip to any surface, including your eye. STORE Patanol (Olopatadine 0.25%) at room temperature in a tightly-closed container, away from heat and light.
